What is covered?

Contractors' All Risks

Contractors’ All Risk (CAR) provides protection against loss or damage in respect of the contract works, construction plant and equipment and/or construction machinery, as well as against third party claims in respect of property damage or bodily injury arising in connection with the execution of a project

Erection All Risks

Provide insurance protection for machinery and equipment while it is being erected and installed from the time materials are allocated to the contract, during transit/offsite storage and for the works up to the completion or hand-over on contract sites throughout the geographical location of the project

Plant All Risks

Cover is provided for constructional plant, whether owned or hired-in and is an ‘all-risks’ basis for owned plant, and liability under the terms of the agreement for hired in plant.

Machinery Breakdown Insurance

Machinery Insurance (MI) provides cover for plant, machinery and mechanical equipment at work, at rest or during maintenance operations. Machinery insurance is an all risk “accident” insurance for machinery supplementing the coverage affordable by Fire insurance. It covers unforeseen and sudden physical loss of or damage to the insured items, necessitating their repairs or replacement.

Machinery Breakdown Loss of Profit

Indemnifies the actual loss of gross profit sustained as a result of a business interruption caused by an accident covered under Machinery insurance.

Electronic Equipment Insurance (Computer Insurance)

Electronic Equipment is an “Accident” insurance on an all-risks basis covering sudden and unforeseen losses which physically affect the subject matter insured.

Boiler and Pressure Vessel

Boiler Insurance covers the Insured boilers and pressure vessels (both fixed and unfixed) against the risk of ‘explosion’ and ‘collapse; and indemnifies the insured against damage to insured items itself (other than by fire), damage to other surrounding property of the insured (other than by fire), liability for Third Party Property Damage and/ or fatal or non / fatal personal injuries.
