Mr. Clement Owusu holds a BSc. Administration (Accounting) from the University of Ghana Business School and MBA Finance with the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).

He attended the West African Insurance Institute in The Gambia where he was awarded the prize for the Highest Scholastic Achievement.

He is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, UK and at a point, a visiting lecturer at the West African Insurance Institute in Banjul, The Gambia.

Mr. Owusu has also written various articles on insurance for the Ghana Market as well as the CII Journal. Prior to joining WAICA Re, he worked as an underwriter with Ghana Reinsurance Company Ltd from 2006 to 2012.

He is a member of the Board of Royal Insurance Gambia Ltd and also serves as Chairman of Pinnacle Life Ghana and Laurus Africa Securities as well as a member of Oryx Re of London.
