Annette Coker joined WAICA Re a Group HR Manager in April 2025 where she leads the strategic direction of the HR function across the Group’s diverse regional and subsidiary offices. She holds a BA in Human Resource Management from Middlesex University in the UK and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).

She has extensive previous experience in the Mining and Telecoms sector, and she brings with her strategic planning, capacity building, diversity and inclusion, and compliance with organizational policies, ensuring that WAICA Re’s human capital strategies align with its corporate vision.

Her leadership has been instrumental in driving initiatives such as the digitization of HR systems, the implementation of robust performance management frameworks, and the integration of employee wellness and engagement programs
